GET TO KNOW ME

Hi! I'm a wife, and mother living within the military community — a life full of flexibility, resilience, and plenty of laughter. My passion lies in bringing Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) into the workplace — not just for the people we support, but for the staff who show up every day, often carrying more than they let on.

I’ve been working alongside trauma since I was 16, starting in youth work, being one of the first to co-write a course for a local trust on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder that i co-delivered with a Psychologist. Developing a deeper understanding of how trauma can impact us and what we need as individuals to support each other, either at work or privately. I believe in meeting people where they are, adapting my approach to support real, sustainable change — always with a healthy dose of compassion (and the occasional terrible joke).

Fun fact: I can sniff out a Christmas shop anywhere. Much to the delight (or despair) of my family, I’m the one who starts festive shopping early and never misses a twinkly window display. I use humour not just in my personal life but as a therapeutic tool — so don’t be surprised if you hear a few groan-worthy jokes in my training sessions!

When I’m not working, I’m embracing my gardening era. I can now keep flowers alive (a win!), grow my own strawberries, and one day hope to make jam that’s actually edible. I’ve also started enjoying long walks — hence the photo — where I find space to reflect, recharge, and spot more plants I probably don’t need.

Trauma work is serious — but that doesn’t mean we have to lose the joy, the humanity, or the humour. If you're looking for someone who brings both experience and heart to the table, I’d love to connect.

THIS IS ME

My journey started at 16 in youth work, where I first encountered the deep and lasting impact of trauma. Since then, trauma-informed practice has been the thread running through my entire career. I've supported trauma responses rooted in personal experience, historical context, and cultural identity — always with a focus on safety, empathy, and meaningful connection.

Within the NHS, I’ve co-written, delivered, and researched award-winning Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) training that, in 2024, was formally recognised for its positive impact on staff well-being — something I’m incredibly passionate about.

I hold both Level 3 and Level 5 qualifications in Education and Training, alongside a wide range of specialist psychological training. These include Adapting DBT Skills for Dysregulated and Suicidal Teens (British Isles DBT Training Team) and Psychological First Aid, among many others.

With my in-depth knowledge of business administration and computer science, I moved into consulting. Over the past few years, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of clients, from established corporations to innovative startups. This experience has given me a deep understanding of conveys the unique challenges that companies of all sizes face.

When I'm not strategizing or solving problems, I find inspiration in exploring new cultures and immersing myself in the ever-evolving world of technology. This continuous learning allows me to offer my clients the most cutting-edge solutions and insights.

I invite you to explore my portfolio and discover how I can lead your business to success in the dynamic digital landscape.
